Family photos and MRI results.....:)

Image
I thought I would post some pictures today of my family... These two little guys are my grandson's John and Kaden. They recently visited the Natural History Museum in New York City with their Dad (my youngest son) and my daughter-in-law.  John and Kaden loved their time there!! A picture of my father!! This is a picture of me when I was about three years old!!! This is my Mom....there is a place called "Gillet Castle" in Old Lyme, Ct. and mom visited it one day with my her Aunt Millie in the early 1940's.. I have started Physical therapy for my hip and leg. I will be going three times a week for three months. I found a group of good Dr.'s here in town. The MRI results came back with tendon adema and also a slight tear in the labrum in my groin area.  It will take awhile to put things right again and I look forward to less pain and enjoying life again!!! I wish All of you a Wonderful Day!!! Love and Blessings ...

The "Cowgirl Bag"...Series "3" !!!

Hi Sweet Friends.... I hope you all are doing well on this Tuesday!! We have been getting quite a bit of rain for the past few days here in Georgia , but it makes everything look so beautiful and green, and of course the flowers love all the moisture!!   Here is another "Cowgirl" bag I finished. This bag is the third in a series of bags. As some of you may know I am selling these bags for a great cause. My friend KC Willis is donating her time and resources for the great Lakota people on the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. I am helping in her effort by making some OOAK bags by donating part of my proceeds to give to KC to help the Lakota Indians.         The picture you see here on the bag is of Clamaity Jane. She was quite the sharpe shooter in her day, rivaled many a man with her shooting skills.   I am really loving making these bags....I have already sold the first two bags. Jan bought the first "Cowgirl" b...

Sprucing up the Booth!!

Hi Sweeties!!! How was your weekend?? I hope you were able to do something enjoyable and rewarding? Even just relaxing has it's rewards...You are then energized to go do something you love to do!! :)  I brought in some more items for the booth this weekend. I really love the little crochet jacket.  I also added a cute J. Jill skirt as well. Who knows it may catch someone's eye! :) The picture of the ocean I just found recently. It is a signed print painted by a famous artist in Hawaii. I had a hard time parting with it, but I know someone will enjoy it! My hubby copied a bit of info we found on the artist for whomever purchases the picture. I love knowing the history about the items I sell. I think it lends a more personal touch to the item that the consumer may find interesting. This sweet mini vanity for a dresser was actually "black" when I found it. I painted it a satin white finish and detressed the relief on the top...
