Trip to Tybee Island and Savannah Ga.

Hi Sweet Friends,

I have to apologize for being absent
lately from my blog and visiting with
you all.

I was put on some new meds and for
a couple of weeks I have felt like
crap!!! I was put on Cymbalta for
my fibro...ughhh it was so bad...I
felt like my head weighed 100lbs.
my mood shifted to feeling depressed
and I could not concentrate on anything.
So needless to say I just stopped taking
them. I have not told my Dr. yet and have
an appointment in less than two weeks.
The only thing it was good for was my
foot that has the RSDS problem...alot
less pain and tingling, but that was the
only bennefit from it.

Also my 91 yr old Mom is having
problems with her legs now and
needs more care too. So we both have
been rather down lately!

The good news is my husband whisked
me away over the 4th of July weekend
and we had a blast.

A little beachy fun....the Dolphins came
to say hi and swam very close to us...I love them soooo much!!! My husbands left knee and my right
knee got sunburned only...it was too funny!

We had dinner at my favoite "Pirates House"
Restaurant in Savannah....
do you see my Mint Julep?? Mmmm yummy!

A beautiful bowl of fruit with our morning
breakfast....the colors were gorgeous!!

This is our friend John Sandifer who
as you can see impersonates Forest Gump here in Savannah! If you visit Savannah go on the Old Savannah tours Trolley and Forest will hop on board!!

I am way past my 200th post and will be having an up and coming Giveaway very soon
so stay tuned!!

Love to you All,

Susan

  2. Good to hear from you and I'll bet you did the right thing to stop taking that particular drug. Happy to hear you got out for a little trip, you look good. I assume that is your DH with you and Forrest? Pretty dress you are wearing. Hope your mom gets to feeling better soon, and you too. It has been a strange summer so far.

  5. Like everyone I have missed you! So happy though that you got to visit your favorite place. I keep thinking I am going to be sitting on that beach with you one of these days. lol I just wish it would hurry and come true I so need a trip to the beach and to meet you.
I so enjoyed our visit on the phone. Thought my virus was over with because I was good during the night but found out the hard way that it is well not over with. lol
I just got my rating from the workers comp DD doctor and he put me at 5 percent but does find me permanently disabled but can return to work. Lord help me what does this all mean. I guess I will talk to my lawyer Monday.
Sorry did not mean to write a letter
    Love ya

  6. Hi Susan- I am glad you are feeling better- it's tough to get settled on new meds. Your Mother is so lucky to have you to care for her- I certainly wish her some better days.

Your Savannah trip sounds like such a good time! ( my husband is a Forest Gump groupie!) I think he knows every line in the movie!!

You look beautiful in the photos ( you always do)--

  7. Just happened upon your blog from another and your title caught my eye...live near Sav. Ga.

I wanted to tell you about my RELIEF FROM FIBRO..using Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Please stop by my blog post on it...at www.watereingwellsofhope.blogspot.com

Taking this took away ALL my Fibro symptoms...

You must read up on it and atleast try it. I know all our bodies are different. IE: cancer, I have had it.

I hope you find the help you need and not on meds...

    Blessings
    HOPE
