Blissful ATC Swap..... Theme White/Snow......Trip cancelled due to bad weather!!
Hello Dear Friends!!
I wanted to share with all
of you the newest ATC
I made for the Blissful
ATC Swap for January.
The theme this month
was "White/Snow"!!
I never thought "how"
apropo this theme would
turn out to be!!
I used Glitter Sheets by
Petaloo for the background
which I affixed to a
blank ATC card.
The next layer was the
beautiful little girl
image.
Next layer I scattered
some dimensional
snowflake stickers from
the EK Success Boutique
line.
The next layer I used
over those three layers
was a Hand silk-screened
clear transparent sheet
called "Frosty Snowflakes"
on top of the layers.
I used Clear Gel Tacky
Glue as my adhesive
for the multiple layers.
I also added some trim
between the two bottom
layers to act as a frame
around the outside edges.
I also scallop cut some of the
white glitter paper to add a
small frame to the edges
of the transparensy and little
flat back pearls for each corner.
My wonderful swap partner
Jane Wetzel received my ATC
and so I am now able to share
it with all of you.
Jane's ATC is on the way and
I look forward to sharing her's
with all of you soon.
Well my dears I will
NOT be going to New Jersey
this week after all.
We are having a hard time
here in Georgia with the
Ice/snow we received
on Monday and now today
as I have watched the forecast
for the greater New York
New Jersey area they will
be getting hit by two snow storms
one from the south...the one we got,
and also getting hit from one
coming from the west via the
great lakes.
Sooo I have to be patient a bit
longer in visiting little Lucia

If you want a chuckle.....
I spent quite some time today searching for the Jane Austen Quiz online, but to no avail! And alas...I come here and lo and behold, you have it right on your sidebar! I used to have it when I first started blogging and I thought it might be nice to post it on my blog again! Now, thanks to you, I just might get around to actually getting it done!
Have a great night!
Ciao Bella!

Susan, this is really pretty. All the layers give it so much dimension, not to mention sparkle.
ReplyDeleteAnd, as you know, there is MORE snow up this way! Worse where you were headed. Here, we only have 6" but the sun is out! So pretty and bright!
Thank you for your friendship and kind words, Susan. :-)
Keep warm!
Hugs, Diane
