Nudge week 3 and....Other Interesting Tid Bits!!

 Hello Dear Friends,

I feel like I have been away a very
long time from All of you!!

What have I been doing??

Taking care of my Mom has
been on the top of the list.
My Mom lives with me and
my hubby and she is 90yrs.
cooking, laundry.....A new
caregiver comes once a week
now to help out with her bathing
etc. So glad we have her!!

A neighbor of ours lost his wife
about a month ago and so my husband
and I visited him and also have bought
a few things from him as he is going to
live in an assisted living home the end of
this week. He is such a lovely man
and so was his wife. Marilyn was a
very crafty lady...ummm his wife
loved to make things and paint
furniture as well!!
I bought a lovely book case with
the fold down glass doors for each
shelf. I will put some pictures up
on my next post.

For your viewing pleasure today
is a journal layout I did for the
Creative Revolutionaries group
I belong to. We had to take some
random pictures and then put them
into a journal and play!!

So here it is ok...I think I
need to do many more to feel comfortable
at it!!

Enjoy Your Day!!!

Love you All!!

  1. I hope your Mom is doing well and that she likes the caregiver. I like what you have done in your journal, what a lovely reminder of your summer/fall time.

So sorry for the loss of your friend. I hope the old gentleman will do all right in his new home.

  2. Susan honey been thinking of you today wondering if your having the beautiful weather we are today.
I just got home from therapy and sore since they made me do it out of the water because of the rash.haha
Love this and it looks difficult. You always inspire me to do something. If only you lived closer I might get something done.
I am fixing to go to the library and do a little history search for the book I have in my head to write. Wish me luck.
Not sure the review and giveaway I did today was the right thing to do for my site but when I was ask to do it I was of course happy..and then I thought it would be a way to have more giveaways. Who knows we can talk about it.
I for some reason thought your grandbaby was due the first of Feb...I read on the post previous to this that is close. lol
    Talk to you soon

  3. Susan, oh bless your heart, and your Mom's too! She's so blessed to live with a caring daughter. I just adore older folks.
Your journal is so neat! I have never done this yet.
    Hope you are well,
    Hugs, Diane

  4. I missed you. Glad you are back and the journal layout is awesome!

  5. Susan your journal pages are wonderful, love the nature images.
    Hugs Anni

  6. Susan ~ I could spend hours & hours writing of our loves for Savannah & Charleston ... we'd be gone in a heartbeat if it weren't for our boy!
The romance & beauty & warmth are so overwhelming ... the history is alive & rich.

TY for coming by for a visit ... stay in touch for more starting on Monday ...

I apologize for not being in touch better but I've been really sick the past 2 weeks, hopefully I am moving forward now.

    TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon

  7. What a beautiful journal - so creative my friend - totally love this idea! What a wonderfuldaughter you are to care for your aging mother - I have so been there - totally understand the "busy" things that go along with that. I always knew you were a special person!
