Fall Intrigues Basket Swap

Hello All,

I wanted to share with all of
you today a recent swap I did
with my friend Melinda.
I joined Michele's "Fall
Intrigue Basket Swap"
and I was partnered with
Melinda.

We both received our baskets
from one another.
This  lovely basket is from
Melinda. It came wrapped
so sweetly as you can see.

Inside the green cellophane was
a Pumpkin Basket filled                                 
with such lovely items.

Melinda gave me a beautiful
metal leaf dish. Some yummy
chocolate almond caramel candy,
Fall and Halloween stickers.
A lovely net ribbon with brown
shabby Roses attached.
A package of Cinnamon
tea light candles, smells wonderful!
Last but not least the most lovely handmade
Quilted table topper made for
just for me by Melinda. Isn't it
gorgeous?


Thank you sweet Melinda for such lovely
Fall gifts. You have helped in brightening
up our home this fall season with your
kindness and generous spirit.

    Oh, how I love the blog swapping. Yours is one of the first to be posted. I hope everyone will post their baskets and goodies for us all to see. You did get some lovely very fall things. Melinda is a really amazing artist with fabric.
    I knew she would sew something lovely, and I used that same pumpkin basket for mine too. Thanks for posting and always visiting me at my blog. You're one of my favorites! Love ya Michele

    Susan honey you are just the best getting involved with the swaps. Wish I could be more like you. I know we have the same hours in a day but you seem to do something creative and what do I do. lol
    Mow and mow some more I guess...
    Enjoyed our visit so much and how lucky I am to have you in my life even though we are miles away.
    Your basket from Michele is wonderful and what a neat surprise to open.

    Wow, what a great basket you have received, so many wonderful items in it. Have fun finding uses for the stickers while you burn those scented candles. I love the fabrics she used in that lovely table topper. Great way to celebrate autumn, with a swap like this. Congratulations Susan!!

My First Giveaway and Celebrating My Birthday!!

My Dearest Blogging Friends, I can not find the words to express how much Joy and Happiness that each of you have brought into my life. Hello Dear Friends.... So I'm here again!...I may just start blogging once more!! I wanted to share with you a simple little collage I made this week. I used a vintage book cover as my base. I love the dark green base for the collage. The little girl is from Paper Whimsy. Since I wanted to make something to herald in springtime...I decided to use some vintage ephemera that I have collected over the years. I used a vintage book page from some nature pages my friend Tina had sent to me from Denmark. The feather I have the little girl holding is from a friend in British Columbia, from one of her birds, who donates his feathers!! LOL......I also used a wee little nest I was gifted in a swap a couple of years ago. The little metal hanger I though was a cute way to hang the collage...On the little label it says "Magical"!
