The Blissful ATC Swap....and my 3rd ATC

Hi Dear Blogging Buddies!!!

I entered another ATC for the second Blissful ATC Swap.
This time my swap buddy was Wendy.
Our swaps theme this time was "Orange"....Ughhh I thought...I really
really don't like Orange!! I almost gave up and thought I would not
be in the swap at all when I thought well "what" in the color of Orange do I like?
The only thing I really like that is orange are Pumpkins....OR...the Japanese Koi Fish!!  I looked through my stash of stuff and found a picture of some Koi and then painted this litte fellow. I had painted the pond first  and then painted the cute little Koi on a seperate piece of paper, I then glued the little guy down on top of the water....and so there ya go!!
I think he came out sooo cute!!

Anyone want to name him???

Ok folks LISTEN up!!

My first "GIVEAWAY" is happening very very soon!!
So watch out and stay tuned....don't leave town or if you
do at least take your lap top with you.....just kidding!!! ;)

    This turned out great, Susan! I love it. I love orange anyway and those Koi fish are so pretty, how could you go wrong? You didn't, you went very right with this one, good job! I will be watching for your giveaway.

    He is gorgeous....maybe a book could give you a clue to his name like 'Memoirs of a Geisha' or call him Pumpkin like you mentioned.

My First Giveaway and Celebrating My Birthday!!

My Dearest Blogging Friends, I can not find the words to express how much Joy and Happiness that each of you have brought into my life. Hello Dear Friends.... So I'm here again!...I may just start blogging once more!! I wanted to share with you a simple little collage I made this week. I used a vintage book cover as my base. I love the dark green base for the collage. The little girl is from Paper Whimsy. Since I wanted to make something to herald in springtime...I decided to use some vintage ephemera that I have collected over the years. I used a vintage book page from some nature pages my friend Tina had sent to me from Denmark. The feather I have the little girl holding is from a friend in British Columbia, from one of her birds, who donates his feathers!! LOL......I also used a wee little nest I was gifted in a swap a couple of years ago. The little metal hanger I though was a cute way to hang the collage...On the little label it says "Magical"!
