Hello Dear Friends, Happy Thursday to All!! This week has gone by fast. I have been working on a Fabric book for the shop and thought I would share it with you. Little by little I have been collecting fabrics and laces and odds and ends and this little book of 8 pages is packed with many of pieces that I have acquired over time. It has a French theme to it and I have used quite a few different toile fabrics in it with some vintage lace as well. Contained inside are pockets with little hidden treasures and also the sweetest little journal. Stop over at "The Victorian Shoppe" on Facebook and see what the other ladies are selling as well.  Hello Dear Friends!! I am hoping that your Wednesday is going well!! Did you know that if you seperated the word Artistry...you get  "Art-is-try?? I stumbled upon this yesterday while watching a Tv show....I caught it out of the corner of my eye and was not sure if they had meant it to look that way or was it my crazy eye's seeing things again. In any event I really loved what I saw or thought I saw and it got me thinking.... uh oh there I go thinking again as my husband puts it!! Art...is....try...yes I think we are all trying to do various things with our art and if we only would "try" Art wow what a wonderful world opens up for us. Dear Friends, Well it's Friday again and wanted to share with you all a couple of my newest fabric cuffs I have been working on. The first one is called the Nest.... I thought it turned out really cute what do you think?? I added a little feather from some earrings my friend gave to me. I wanted to show my cuffs off better for the shop I am selling my little treasures in and thought of the concept of wrapping them around a cute little pillow, this way someone could see what the cuff would look like if it was on their wrist. I added some wonderful lavender with some very soft fibrefill to the pillow. I thought it looked so pretty this way! What do you think??? This is the "Pretty in Pink" Cuff I made with pearls and a single peridot in the middle of the flower. The little "Dream Journal" I made for my son Eddie's  fiance'   Kristin!!  Hello Dear Friends, Wanted to share with you all some pictures of my family in New Jersey. This is my wonderful grandson John. He is in first grade and will turn 7 in July. He is a wonderful fun loving little boy and very sweet. He was picking flowers for me in his front yard. When he was a little guy he once picked a Buttercup for me and I still have it. This is John's brother Kaden my second grandson!! Kaden will be 5 in July. He is so beautiful and sweet. I wanted to just scoop him up and hug him all the time!! Here we are playing in the playground next to their house. Resting in the shade together!! Hello Dear Friends, I am leaving bright and early tomorrow morning to fly up to New Jersey to see my famliy! I'm already packed except for bathroom stuff. I wanted to share my latest sewing project with you. I made this quilted bag for a special friend of mine in New Jersey. I am hoping she will like it as much as I loved putting it together for her!! Another picture of Little Miss Daisy. What a living doll she is. She is quite the little diva! This AM she got up on my vanity stool to have a look in my Lighted magnified makeup mirror, and she rubbed the edge of it with her chin upon inspection of her beautiful self!! Too funny!!! Hi Dear Friends, Guess what??? I have a brand new kitty!!!!! Last night my husband and I took a drive to see a lady about a kitty!! Dottie raises "Persian" kitties and has 6 in her home. Dottie needed to let go of two of her kitties...one was Amber and one was Daisy! We had seen Amber's photo on Craigs List and thought she was the cats meow. Dottie had raised Amber and Daisy...they are 2 1/2 year old sisters. They were both in a pen in the livingroom when we arrived so we could visit with them. Well Daisy and I hit it off from the start and I fell for this cute little ball of fur real hard! This morning Daisy and I were playing and so I wanted to take some pictures to show you this little cutie pie. I still miss my Sam so much he will always live in my heart. I think Sam would have approved of little Miss Daisy...don't you think so too?? Love to you All, Susan and Daisy!
